As an employed physician, I often felt limited in what I could offer. There were unexpected obstacles along the way, but through these challenges I found the right place to build the permanent home for my bariatric and general surgery practice: Inspire Bariatrics. Today, as the owner of Inspire Bariatrics, I can develop the patient experience exactly as I believe it should be—comprehensive, built on the most advanced surgical options, and always with long-term wellness as the goal.

Some procedures may seem appealing at first glance, such as balloons, LAP-BANDS®, or endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty. While they are marketed widely, I do not offer them because I believe they don’t provide the durable, long-term results my patients deserve. Instead, I concentrate on proven surgical options that help patients achieve permanent, meaningful change.
But surgery is just the beginning. From your first consultation, through the procedure, and well into your long-term follow-up, we continue working together. Our program includes ongoing support, education, and tools that promote lifelong wellness. For example, we’ve recently added the InBody scan to track body composition. This goes beyond simply measuring weight—it helps us focus on building strength, reducing health risks, and supporting your overall quality of life.
